Right now in 2018 Jagged Little Pill feels urgent. Its also somehow wildly entertaining. It is wickedly funny in just the right places. Were reminded that Morissettes songs are a treasure. On top of it all were reminded that a heap of social ills can be the basis of good theater. And no theres nothing ironic about that.
A big-hearted musical that breaks the mold.
Triumphant! Not since Rent has a musical invested so many bravura roles with so much individual life.
Stirring Breathtaking & Exceptionally Relevant. Works this ambitious broaden our perspective of what theater can do.
Ms. Morissettes trailblazing 1995 album is taking on new life: as theater.
